"Light the World" Christmas Service Bingo

Help shine the light of Jesus Christ this Christmas with our printable freebie - Light the World Christmas Service Bingo! (free, printable, PDF download button is at the end of this article)

I’ll be honest, the Christmas season isn’t necessarily my favorite. As someone who is a little sensory-sensitive, I get overwhelmed by all the noise, lights, late nights, extra responsibilities and expenses, extra clutter, impending additions to the clutter, sugar everywhere etc. I can sympathize with the Grinch, “all the noise, noise, noise, noise! Maybe his heart was two sizes too small, or maybe he was sensory sensitive too. Either way, the thing that turned it around for him, is the same thing that turns it around for me every year - the true meaning of Christmas.

One thing I do love about this time of year is looking for ways to fill our home with a Christ-centered Christmas. We have our regular traditions, but I also love to find fresh ideas for our family too. Every year, our little family likes to participate in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ “Light the World” campaign. It has been a great way to direct our efforts in ways that feel good, rather than overwhelming. And each year, we find ourselves at the drawing board, coming up with new ways to “Light the World.”

This year, I’ve made a Christmas Service Bingo. Each day in December, we’ll choose at least one act of service and color in the box once it’s been completed.

For anyone interested in playing as well, you can play this Bingo game individually, or as a whole family. Choose a fun, yet simple reward for each time you complete a “Bingo,” and something extra special in the case of a “Blackout.”

Use our Bingo board, or create your own! You can find a link to PDFs at the bottom of this article.
